This skin disease seems to be prevalent on our adolescent community currently.
It is caused by a mite that infests humans only and is spread by skin to skin contact.
Symptoms are an itchy rash mainly affecting hand, wrists, thighs, waist and buttocks.
If you suspect scabies please make an appointment to be checked as you will need treatment for yourself and close contacts
